Imagine Cup History

Changing the World, Year After Year

In the past ten years, the Imagine Cup has held its Worldwide Finals all over the globe: Barcelona. Cairo. Delhi. New York. Paris. São Paulo. Seoul. Yokohama. Warsaw. And while our 2003 beginning was very humble (there were fewer than 1,000 student competitors), the Imagine Cup grew to include more than 358,000 registered students from 183 countries/regions in 2011.

You can be part of history, too. Register for the Imagine Cup today. The Imagine Cup is a way for students to use their technological creativity, imagination, and brainpower to open up a world of opportunities. Past Imagine Cup participants have gone on to secure great internships or the perfect job. Others have partnered with NGOs or started their own company based on their Imagine Cup project. Imagine where you could go with your solution.
