First of all, thank you for your interest in the Imagine Cup! We are inspired by you and the other 1.4 million students who have participated in the Imagine Cup since its inception in 2003. Last year, 358,000 registrants from 183 countries/regions participated in Imagine Cup 2011!
The Imagine Cup showcases the dreams, ideas, and creative energy of young leaders in technology and gives them exposure, resources, and connections to focus their passion into projects that benefit the society of tomorrow.
On your journey as a competitor in Imagine Cup 2012, you will meet many of us that are part of the Microsoft Academic Team. We are a worldwide team of over 150 people who spend our days working with students and faculty to develop Microsoft's relationship with academia.
