You have worked hard on your Imagine Cup 2012 entry. Don’t risk losing your hard work by waiting until the last minute to upload it! Uploading a file takes longer than downloading. Here are some tips to help you successfully upload your submission.
- The round upload deadlines are FINAL. The ability to upload entries through the Imagine Cup website stops exactly at the time shown for the end of that particular round. You will not be able to submit entries after the deadline. For example, the Embedded Development Round 1 ends exactly at 11:59 P.M. GMT on March 1, 2012.
- Begin your entry upload process at least 24 hours prior to the round upload deadline. It is not uncommon for it to take 6 hours or more to finish an upload. If you lose your internet connection during the upload and before the round upload deadline, you may need to start the process over. Note: If you need to, you can always update your entry after it is uploaded, so don’t wait until the last minute!
- If your entry is still uploading past the round deadline, it will continue to upload. If your upload fails for any reason, you will not be allowed to restart the upload. If this happens, contact us!
- If you encounter any problems during your upload process, contact us IMMEDIATELY. Do not use the competition forums for help. When you submit your support request please include:
- Your Imagine Cup user name
- Team name
- Competition/award name
- Description of the problem you are encountering.
