If you are building an app with Windows 8, either for the competitions or challenges, we have worked with a number of Microsoft experts, including our Windows 8 App Challenge Captain, to put together the following:

If you're the top Windows 8 Challenge winner at the Worldwide Finals in St. Petersburg, and your project includes Windows Azure Cloud Services, Websites, or Virtual Machines, your team will win an extra US$1,000! If your project includes Windows Mobile Services you can win an extra US$1,000 that way, too. And if you win both boosts you get the Double Shot bonus for $3,000 instead of $2,000!
