SOFTWARE DESIGN - INDIA
This Software Design local competition is only
open to students in India. For more information on eligibility requirements, see

rules. In addition to the Software Design (General) category, we also have Software Design (Accessibility) awards in India.
COMPETITION TIMELINE
- End Date for Local Submission deliverables: 29th February 2012
- Telephonic interviews for short-listed teams: Between 12th - 31st March 2012
- National Finals: April 2012
- Worldwide Finals in Sydney, Australia: July 2012
DELIVERABLES
Local Submission:
Three key deliverables that should be zipped together into a single .zip file (Size <= 250 MB) are:
- Preliminary Summary (maximum 5 pages long), using the locally prescribed template, submitted as an electronic file in the .doc, .docx, or .pdf format.
- A Visual Studio project/solution with adequately commented source code.
- A short video (Minimum 9 minutes, Maximum 10 minutes) of one or more members of the Team demonstrating the application must be submitted in the .mpg, .wmv or .mpeg format.
National Finals:
- Selected teams will be expected to present the working software
application before a set of judges at a specified location.

PRIZES
Software Design (General) Prizes:
- 1st Prize: INR 80,000 and opportunity to compete in the Worldwide Finals of the
Competition.
- 2nd Prize: INR 70,000
- 3rd Prize: INR 60,000
- Consolation prizes for remaining National Finalist teams: INR 50,000 each
